Sample Collection Requirements

To ensure accurate and reliable results, minimum specimen length requirements must be met at the time of collection:

• Head hair testing: Hair must be at least 1.5 inches long to detect drug use for up to 90 days prior.
• Nail testing: Nails must be 3 mm or longer. To measure this, a quarter turned on its side must fit under every nail on both hands.
